Topic: Poverty Simulation Training
Thanks to the Mid-Ohio Valley Circles Campaign audience was immersed in a poverty simulation in order to experience the challenges faced by those in poverty. Unless you have experienced poverty, its difficult to understand the reality of it. The Circles Campaign poverty simulation is a 2.5-hour immersive learning experience. This interactive event increases understanding of poverty, inspires local change, and helps to eliminate barriers through understanding.

Topic: Trauma-Informed Care Customer Service Workshop
Thanks to Dr. Alane Sanders, PH.D the audience learned empowering client service through Trauma-Informed Practices. This workshop was designed to equip them with the knowledge and tools to better understand and serve the public. They learned specific communication techniques to use in work, develop strategies to create a safe and welcoming environment for all clients, gained insight into the impact of trauma on individuals, and was tailored to the No Wrong Door approach.
